I can't wait to be with my kitties again..

Yesterday was a big day for us at the Steelman/Lamb household!! Shane and I let the kitties explore the house a bit. We shut all the doors so they could only get out into the hall/living/kitchen/master bedroom. Much to my surprise Charlotte was quite the little explorer and meowing all the way! She would never be able to sneak up on something.. Kinsler however was not to fond of the exploring idea at first. All I did was open the door and go about my business so it was up to them to come out. Shane made a loud noise and ZOOM! both headed right back into their room! I'm glad they know that is their room and their safe spot. Kinsler eventually got a little more brave and joined Charlotte on the expedition! I was glad to let them get out and the house is clean/close enough to finished that I should be able to let them out when I go spend time with them!!

The neighbors have started building their house as well so there are all sorts of noises now.. I have been keeping a radio on for them. It's been on country music but should I change it up? Do your kitties like a specific kind of music?

After the loud noise Kins ran to his box on the cat tree and just looked pitiful..

Awwww... They are so adorable together! Glad today went well... Whatever you leave on fur then is fine... I don't think they knew the difference ;-)

It must be a relief to know that your home is almost completed. I'm not sure that the cats really care one way or the other, but once they've explored the house more they will find new favorite spots I'm sure
