Incision after surgery

I have been lightly rolling it about 5 to 10 feet real slow... Where she does not put out much energy to get to it... She does look at me a little funny when she gets back as if to say.. "Come on dad... Really throw it..."

Oni, my female F6, will totally refuse to fetch if the object doesn't travel from the living room through the foyer and at least most of the way down the hall. She will just sit there with this look of disdain. She expects you then to get the object and try again.

Now, my wife is notoriously bad at throwing. She once hit someone behind her...needless to say she gets that look a lot.

I have a lot of stuff to bounce it off of, and sometimes it comes back.... She still chases it... As long as the ball goes out of My Arms reach she will chase it...

This morning Elsa got up at 6:30 AM... She knows the time to get up is 8:30.... When I finally got up she was bird watching... When I get on the computer she brings her ball and drops it for me to throw it... She is definetly getting back to normal....

As for the pink/redness, no real change from yesterday.

Today, her incision is looking better... Still discolored, but not as much red... It is very hard to get a good clear focus while holding her and taking a picture... She is not paying any attention to it at all (no licking, biting, or scratching).

I am still babying her and plan to do so for the next couple days, but she does not want to hold back at all... Today she was really getting back into the realm of chasing her balls around (No Dirty Thoughts Witchy, :) mini tennis balls!) - I saw that Atticus picture you posted.

72 hours after surgery... Almost all redness is gone, but it is still very visible. She does not pay any attention to it.

It looks really good... I wouldn't imagine it will completely disappear, but that's healed fast! And her not paying attention to it is great :)
