Incision after surgery

John. I know she is a ball player. You have said that. All I did was see her "TOY" face. Just made the connection to the ball. Simple. And didja hear what Patti said? I rest my case... :)

I am as well... Like she just ignoring it... so it has to be one of 2 things:

1.) it does not bother her enough to even think about it.
2.) it bothers her so bad she can't stand to touch it, and just covering up.

I am leaning more towards number 1 as if she was that much in pain, I do not think she could cover it up, but then again, I am no expert on these cats.. They are way smarter than I am..

I think you are right, the incision is not bothering her. Mind you, when my vet does a more "normal" spay my girls don't bother the incision because he doesn't leave any external sutures...I think it is when there are little knotty sutures they bother those when cleaning their belly and they can't leave those foreign things alone. And then you have to resort to the cone of shame for two weeks :-(

The incision looks to be healing so fast and so well I think the laser option was a very wise decision on your part :)

Thanks for all the great replies and support... She just won't slow down for anything however.... But I doubt you all really expected her too.

After this long John, I would not worry. It has knitted together, and chances are it would take a lot of strain to open it back up. And she is acting like " I'm fine, dad ...Let's just PLAY!!!"

that is exactly what she has been saying... I have been throwing the ball a little harder and farther, but not quite as much as before the surgery.... She still knows to come behind me and bounce the ball, and then look up at me so innocent as if to say "What!!!"
