No problem John. Life is sometimes hectic. He is a sweetie. Was just in while he naps and he purrs so easily.

I am amazed at how fast Regie is becoming my little buddy. I walk into the room, he starts meowing at me, brings his little mouse over and starts batting it around. I have learned that he wants me to bat it with him. When I do, he starts purring so loud it is seems like he is almost growling. He will sit next to my leg and chew it and purr as I skritch his ears and neck. He also like to play " catch me if you can". When I do he purrs. LOL He has an out of control motor boat motor somewhere inside him.

Little turkey! I took his dish of food in for him and as I opened the door, Watching for Kiki to dart in, I had no idea Regie would dart out. But he did. Made it into the hall and being so concerned about Kiki being crazy, I dropped the dish of food and grabbed the boy. Thought I would have a helluva mess to clean up, but the dish fell flat, NO food escaped the boundaries of the dish. Regie was saved from any Kiki confrontation and he is now scarfing up the food.
This little guy is NOW head butting me too. 24 hours and he acts like he has been here a week. But he will give me gray hair...well more gray hair.. If he keeps up trying to escape.

I am enjoying you being bested by a itty bitty kitty so soon after his arrival. Do you have a baby gate? If so put it up so he'll at least be slowed down when you open the door. Now mind you, if I did this, I'd trip over the gate and fall face first in the cat food but I still think it's worth a try.

I would not be able to step over the gate with something in my hands. But I was just careless. I will be on alert form now on.

Me either but I have hope that things will improve once the Prozac takes effect.
He was always a little angel compared to his sister and half-siblings. Now his sister - she is a fearless daredevil and it almost killed her, but that is another story...

Been spending some time watching him play with his mouse. He gets going and, if he has Serval pounced once, he has done it 20 or so times. It is so damned cute. I laugh each time. And he also likes to take a break and headbutt and get some pets. No more that 30 seconds, but must purr loudly the while time. In sleeping now.
