It's possible that Nala is marking. Is she fixed? That might be a moot point, I have a couple of spayed girls that spray...

It could be Nala! I have missed these posts so want to congratulate and thank you for all you have done for Zuri... Sounds like Nala is trying to make sure Zuri knows that she is top gun...I have a similar issue here between ixas and Taj... Ixas was born here, as you know, and is three... Taj is six and a much bigger cat... Ixas decided a while ago he was top cat of the males and often goes after Taj, who will not fight back... Difference is he is not mean... Just being a bully...the last few days, I have played him until he is ragged... No more bullying... So maybe just play Nala ragged?

She lays on the back of the couch, which is her place since it is closest to me, and if he tries to come into the great room, goes after him then lets into one of the other girls after she chases him off. He is very leery of going past the formal dining room or breakfast nook into the great room even when she is locked up.

He is very seldom in his room and prefers to lay either on the chairs or on the table in the formal dining room where he can see out the windows and also where we are at.

At dinnertime, if he is in the cat room when I feed her, she lets him have the chicken and leaves the room. Odd! Most nights, we feed him by hand.

Decided he had to come share dinner with us tonight. Came over the moment I locked up Nala. I think he enjoyed his dinner. I love him to pieces!
