What an adorable HLX! I think you are right - Kira will never accept a cat that only comes to visit once a week - he will only be seen as an intruder. You can either accept that fact and keep them separated during the visit, or try to get him to spend more time with her, although I suspect even if you do, once you go back to the once a week visits she will revert to her hissy self again... :(

I know that you are thinking of the future and a time when you might be taking this cat into your home...I think you just accept that at that time you will need to do a slow and gradual introduction at that time.

I agree with both of you - I think you are right. He is just a visitor now and she will NEVER adjust to him 1X a week. Thanks so much for the input, appreciate everyone's help and thoughts!
