You are such a good attentive mom, Linda. Yur furkids are lucky to have you as a mom. :)
Well, right now I am not working so I can do this. I need to get all of this under control soon as I do need to return to work at some point!

Jammu is back to eating fairly normal but Rafiki is not. I tried everything I could come up with yesterday including just ground raw, all chunks raw, tuna fish, Nature's Variety duck formula and baby food. She would only eat about .7 oz of the tuna fish and some freeze dried duck tenders. Out of desperation, I force fed her nutrical last night. She seemed a bit sleepy last night and got sick sometime in the night and threw up. This morning she seemed interested in food but would not eat anything but the freeze dried duck tenders. I gave her more nutrical. She is lively today .... running around and playful. She just does not want to eat. I am going quite insane right about now. I keep wondering if I should give her a 1/4 Pepcid to settle her tummy or what.....?! The IM vet won't be in the office until Wednesday.

I should add that ever since I got the ear cleaner, her ears have not bothered her. I have not used it yet so maybe it's very appearance in our house was enough?

Last month at the vet's office, she weighed in at 15.2 lbs. Weighing her at home (not the most accurate), she is still a hair over 15 lbs so if she lost any weight, it is not much.

Since this latest episode started, I have gotten at least 5 - 6 oz in her every day except yesterday.

Methinks she is being a picky Savannah. Regie does that every so often. Usually I get 9 -12 oz into him and Kilifi each day. But on his picky days, I am lucky to get 6 oz in him. That is why I quit weiging him daily. His weight wouuld go up and down 1-5 oz each day. If she is eating and weight is fairly constant (+/- 4 oz) Linda, she will be fine.

Her appetite has gone down every day for the last week. For the last 4-5 days, if I put food in front of her, she walks away. Getting 5-6 oz of food in her daily has meant feeding her small meals about an hour apart. And then yesterday, she would not even eat off my fingers. This is bringing back horrible memories of last May which began 6 months of anorexic hell.

Interesting that it is the same time of year that this started last year as well. Can you think of anything that occurs in May that is unique for that month, e.g., spraying for weeds or bugs, spring cleaning, etc.
