Jasmine is home!!!!!!!!

Trust me Trish and Paige - I know. I wasn't supposed to get her until next week (which was STILL early) but she seemed a little anxious to have me take Jasmine today. So, I did. I just hope it all turns out ok. I am confident it will though, jasmine is pretty outgoing and social to begin with.

Fingers and toes crossed!

You have the resources at your hands and Jasmine's paws- there may be bumps in the road that you wouldn't expect at 12-14 weeks, but I think you two will end up okay. We're here for you! Now- pics, pics!

Very glad she made it home and survived the brief encounter with your pup! She is VERY young to be leaving home, has she had any vaccinations at all?

It sounds like you needed to go get her, but still...it's very very young to leave home. Hope her first night away from home has gone well :)

Good luck with your new arrival. As you probably know, it's VERY important to introduce her to new things in VERY small doses. Give her the bathroom ONLY, where her litter box and food is, for a couple days. Then expand her realm to two or three rooms. Finally, after about a week, and after quarantine and the vet's visit, give her the rest of the house and any other animals, including your dog. Two or three litter boxes strategically placed around the house may be necessary for awhile.

First night went really well!! We played a lot before bed and then went to sleep. I woke up this morning to her nuzzled in my neck and purring away. :) She is purring a LOT today and seems to be doing very well! She is a little skittish at times but usually only if there is a loud noise or something. She is already playing with my other cats paws that keep peeking under the door. Haha!

She is in her room right now and I am cleaning. I feel bad leaving her alone though! But she most likely needs some alone time to get confidence, right?? (I hope so, it will make me feel better lol)

Hey ya'll! Just wanted to update you. It will be one week tomorrow and it is going SO WELL!!! I am beyond happy with how well she is adjusting into the household. We have a very CRAZY house, so I was a little worried.

She is pretty much out of her room all day now. :) She still gets occasional "timeouts", but mainly when the other cats are being overly playful and we can tell she has had enough. lol And, when she eat...because the other cats will devour her food before she gets a chance.

She is SUCH a cuddle bug, I LOVE it. She will be playing and then run over, give us a little love and then go back to playing. She sleeps under the covers with us every night. And she is an AMAZING jumper for her size, too! We can't believe it!! I am just so in love with this girl. :in love:

Here are some pics of her and our Showshoe Siamese mix (Gizmo) and our Bullmassador (Daisy). I am amazed at how far she and Daisy have come already. The first few times she even SAW Daisy, she hissed and had a really deep (cool sounding!) growl. And now look. :)

I joined TICA today and will be sending in her papers tomorrow to get her "official". I think I will be a Savannah-er for life! I wish other people realized how cool our cats really are! I knew she would be "cool"...but I had NO idea.
