Having watching these fantastic athletic cats, just a note and maybe some advice for people with Savannah Cats and Security Sensors.
I had a alarm system with a "PET MOTION SENSOR" meaning it is not suppose to pick up a pet weighing under 35 lbs. My problem started early (with a NON-Savannah) where anytime I was not home my motion sensor would call the police. Finally to see what is going on because my dog was not nearly a heavy enough and my cat was only 7 lbs. Out of desperation and moving the motion sensor 4 times I set up a camera to see what was happening and it was quite shocking... My cat (Gray Tabby) was climbing the wall to play with the blinking lights, and when he would cover the sensor setting off the motion. Once the alarm would go off, he would off course go and hide.
Solution... VERY Simple... a piece of electrical tape, I chose white as my sensor was white and covered the blinking light... Never had another fault as my smart cat could not see a flashing light to play with...
