I'm so sad to report that Makoi lost his battle with FIP. He was a hard fighter and my best friend. Our hearts are crushed. I hope to learn more in the future about this disgusting disease and know I will forever be paranoid of my other two coming down with it one day themselves.

We couldn't bare to watch him not be the little man he once was. After a couple days of not eating/drinking and not responding to many things to stim him we knew it was time to let him go peacefully. I couldn't be next to him during this because every ounce of my heart was torn to shreds but my husband held him the entire time.
