They hospitalized him. He is on fluids, antibiotic and anti inflammatory. The X-rays show large intestine very dilated and inflamed. Lots of stuff in there that looks "unusual" but could be fecal. Air pockets between areas. They will transport him over to emergency tonight so be isn't alone and do surgery if he doesn't improve. They don't want to explore too quickly because it could just be fecal but she says it does make her feel a possible foreign. I am just a mess. He didn't move the entire visit other than to fight X-ray and blood

He's in good hands now and the best place to be. I'm so glad you trusted your instincts. I will be keeping Makoi (and you) in my thoughts and prayers...

Sending good karma your way, all digits are crossed for a speedy recovery for your baby boy. Take good care of yourself too.
Lakota came with us because he needed a wellness visit. We are home now and he is being very affectionate. I think he's quite the smart boy. He usually just wants to bounce off walls but he's laying on me and letting hold his hands. Yep he's making mom feel better. Darn cats suck me in!

Instincts are amazing. I will be in my thoughts tonight and hopefully no surgery and your baby will be ok.

Just called to check on him. They were happy to tell me he didn't argue for his iv. They hate doing this to him because he just goes bonkers when held down. She said he complied with no issue though. He had one round so far of antibiotics, pain meds and bag of fluid. His temp is down to 103.7 now with this on board. Waiting for doc to tell us what is next. Earlier she said She may give us the option to take him home for the night or send him over to the hospital. They will decide on exploratory surgery tomorrow if he isn't up and moving like normal. What would you do? I'm afraid of the temp spike she said could happen. I can't take his temp.
