What protein level was high?

The said his protein level was a little high but only one point and that could just be food. Anyone know about this?

I'm so sorry to hear that he's not doing great When Ziggy has a similar issue his CBC showed and elevated liver enzyme (ALP I think), vets said it was still within normal range, just high and could have been from stress cortisol. I really hope you get into another vet that you are comfy with and get some answers. I'm know it's got to be very stressful to see in losing weight and not feeling good. Hugs to you both!!

Did they check cats feces?

Yes the check feces several times. Unfortunately after going to a new hospital and then a specialist they believe he has FIP. During an ultrasound it seemed to carry clues plus the high GLOB/NEU and other high results they says it's probably the case. They also took samples of the lymph nodes as they are looking suspicious along with fluid and two tests corona and toxoplasmosis. We find out in another day. I don't know if he will hold on. He dropped two lbs and won't drink and barely eat.

And I can't stop crying. I haven't left his side for a minute. He is on meds for fever management/pain and antibiotics while we wait. They gave him an appetite inducer and that sure helped for a day.

Stacie, I am sooo sorry Not sure what to say...we are all hoping it is not FIP and I would be crying as well...please keep us updated...

I will immediately. I had some sample cat foods from our pet store and thought what the heck let's see if he will eat any of them since he won't eat his. It was enough to entice him and be ate about 10 pieces of it. Not sure if it's the healthiest - called Halo. But I will try anything right now. We've done all the baby food etc to see and he won't. So halo and water it is.

it does not matter what food he eats as long as he eats it...fancy Feast is another one that cats will eat when ill...

I will pick up some fancy feast then. This kids going to feel like he's living on the edge because momma's going to let him call the shots all the way to the end. However I am working on faith right now that they are wrong. It's all I can do for him is not give up until we hear it's time.
