LOL...I think we have all learned that the microwave and the oven are the only safe place to keep those little paws out of the food;>)

I think you can train them to stay off the counters while you are IN the room, but the moment you leave all bets are off!

Ha. They seem to operate in pairs! Caught Crazy laying on his back with paws trying to open cabinet door fro the bottom while Katniss tried to squeeze in the small opening he created, but the childproof locks work!!! Not quite enough room to squeeze in and lots of hours of free entertainment!

I thought my SV and two Bengals were angels in the kitchen compared to some of the cats on here. Till I woke up yesterday with the freezer door wide open and food laying on the floor. Seems they had a hay day opening every package in the freezer and knocking some of it on the floor. Of course they shared it with the dog who took some of it outside to eat in private. lol I was upset for about 2 mins till I could just picture how disappointed they were not to find any of the raw cat food in that freezer since we keep it downstairs in the garage freezer. hehe

Well, it's only a matter of time, IMHO. Like when people say, "My child would NEVER act like that!" Just wait until your head is turned and that basement door is left ajar.....

I do advise folk to use the word "yet" when talking about what their Savannah doesn't do... because it can easily just be a matter of time or opportunity. So when I was talking about our Christmas tree this past season, it was "they haven't destroyed it YET...." because who knew what the next day would bring, LOL!

Hanging my head in shame...am I the only one here to forget about the bread in the oven until the oven is preheating and the smell of burning plastic permeates the room?
