I've had the same issue Paige.My kittens eat both...I can't use it

She's the same breeder that we gout our F4 from. He was 2yrs old when we got him. She checks in on him now and then and I mentioned we were thinking of getting a kitten. She had 2. She let us take him as soon as he was eating solid food. She was giving him a combination of chicken and dry food. We have the same brand of dry, but it's a different flavor. I worked from home for the first week to keep an eye on him and make sure he was eating and wasn't scared from moving.
This morning he was eating the dry food, then hopped in to pee in it. I got him to the box in time. Sometimes I'm not fast enough and he pees on me. I think he gets side tracked and waits too long. I have ordered the attracting litter. He uses his box when he's in his room, so I know he gets it.
I know he's very young. I'm never mad at him. We'll try these methods. Thank you for the advice.
She's close, so we can take him to her usual vet, who will know what he's had. Will they share historic records? Our F4 has some issues and I'd like to know if she knew or just hadn't taken him in. We haven't had him long and he most likely came to us sick. I asked her about some of his symptoms and she said it was normal for him. I shouldn't have trusted her. We lost a cat last year, so I'm paranoid if they act weird in any way. I'm mad at myself for not trusting my gut. He should be fine now, thankfully.
