Leave food down?

When I was feeding kibble it was Taste of the Wild, although in the past I have used Royal Canin Special 33 and had good success with it. I feed Earthborn Holistic chicken canned. And raw rabbit (in pieces and ground) and chicken (ground) with Mazuri supplements.

What brand is the dehydrated raw? I tried a dehydrated diet once but you could also feed it dry and my cats would eat it dry but not rehydrated... so I used it as a treat for them.

I do leave several kibbles down all the time. In my experience..most cats do not overeat. On the other hand the only reason I would not leave it down would be if I had one cat and was trying to control the amount they eat every day. I will not make everyone suffer..just try to pick one that everyone eats regularly and not actually a favorite of the dieting baby;>)

I remember trying that, the boutiquey pet store I frequent was giving samples out ages ago. It didn't get approval here. I just remembered that the one I did use was the Wysong Archetype, my F2 really loved it but not rehydrated.
Might be worth revisiting, especially for any of the cats I am currently taking to shows it would be much easier to pack a dehydrated diet than deal with raw!

Taj eats Royal Canin Young Adult Male and Proplan Beef/Chicken. Cisco eats a food I would not recommend - ID by Science Diet. When my beloved Rocky became very ill, the vet put him on ID...Cisco had been eating Royal Canin at that point. So Cisco began eating Rocky's food. rocky died in 2009 and Cisco will not give up that ID. Many people recommend Taste of the Wild - any type of food where protein is the main ingredient.

I buy it at my local store: Scratch and Bark in Wauwatosa, WI. However, you can get it on line too: http://www.thehonestkitchen.com/

When I was a newbie, I actually posted the link to Prowl, which is what whitekickboxing is referring to. I still have two boxes here, so Brigitte if you want to try it, I will ship you a box...they liked it very much and still do every now and then, but I will not be able to use two boxes.

Yeah...I wish Cisco would eat something other than ID...I guess I should try harder, but the minute I sneak even one or two giblets in his bowl with the ID, he refuses to eat :(
