Unattended, as in left at home or left alone in a room?

I went through the phase of once I'm out the door, the sofa pillow will be torn apart, garbage spilled, toilet water all over the place.. but he did leave the seat down... by the time I got back. The pet trainer at work said its all separation anxiety.. So with a security camera in the living room and tv in the garage, more pillows.. for a week i would act like leaving, but stayed in the garage.. as soon as he would start his antics.. I would open the garage door and say NO.. Then second week.. a walkie talkie in the living room will say NO.. Third week, he wouldn't even look at the pillow...

We did All this training after we came home from work... I take Kronos to work, so he is with me all day, but when i do leave him home, now he sleeps until I get back.

As in unsupervised. We can be home or not home. He is fine being alone in his own room, but if we aren't in the same room as he is in he will usually find something to get into trouble with. At this time we keep the doors to other rooms closed so Kronos has to be in the same room as we are at all times.

Both of mines learned NO pretty quick.. I would allow him to roam freely when you are there and discipline as necessary... Mines will not go close to the kitchen table... Whenever they jumped on the table. hand slap on the counter and a loud NO.. That will scare them off and rub my legs for forgiveness. Do that enough and they'll get the idea.. Kronos is to the point he will ask permission to do things. I never hit him, spray water, or threw anything at him. It's all been a loud distraction with a firm NO.

Just like the Dog Whisperer always said.. exercise... They need it.. Kronos knows he is going for a walk when we get home. Kirby knows she will be playing with the feather toy after her wipe down.. keep it the same everyday and they will fall inline. Kronos will be very upset when we don't go for a walk because of the weather, but I make it up to him by taking him to the store for a walk.

Very good advice, tk...savannahs need lots of attention and exercise, which is why I built the catwalk...I think a pet stroller is in Zuri's future...I would love to bring her into stores, but will settle for petco right now. I do bring her with me and everyone is so happy to see her since they only see dogs usually ;)
