That poster board is my oh no you don't board that I use when I open the door to the room. Immediate bonk and clunk lol, then I gently push it into the room and close the door.
They are both lap kittens and even in the middle of a frenzy of playing will run over and butt me, sit in my lap for a moment then carry on. Her favorite thing to do is get a toy and run over and growl at him then run and dive into my lap thinking he can't see her. If he is busy with another toy she drags the toy over, growls at him again then runs back to me. He looks up and is like, whatever, I'm busy.
They have both gotten a LOT better with their claws. I guess all of my squeals of pain after getting pierced in places I NEVER thought I would get pierced helped them get the idea.
I blocked the hallway and into the main bathroom for them today and let them have a bit more space to run. Ping pong ball in the bath tub = mom gets to sit down and rest for 5 minutes although my stomach is starting to hurt from all of the laughing.

Haha Rafiki, so very true but now by day four having them bouncing off my back and head is starting not to wake me. The licking my eyebrows and nibbling my eyelashes in the morning to let me know its chow time will take a bit more getting used to. And of course the tiniest mew and I am wide awake to see what the matter is, lol. Yes. Trained. Slave. Servant.
Oh forgot to mention... I found the quake hold museum putty for the table lamps since they are the only light sources in the room. It may work well for smaller objects but lamps, well not so much. I finally wound up duct taping them down. Whatever it takes to keep my babies safe

Squeals are how they train each other on how far they can go in play so it makes perfect sense that a servant squealing will have the same effect. It is quite impressive that you have made that much progress in that regard in such a short time.
