I don't trim my guys' nails because it is more work than its worth. They don't abuse their nails so I don't bother

Same here as Kristin. It is too much of a pain to do it. And they are all good kids.

I give Rafiki a mani/pedi every 2-3 weeks. I usually enlist the help of the other servant (the hubby) but it is only necessary for my pixie-bob Jammu. Rafiki tends to go pitiful and tug on the heartstrings instead of showing any aggression. I give her many cuddles and kisses during the process and plenty of treats afterwards.

I should add that I started this maybe 6 weeks or so after we brought her home and it was a gradual process. Now she starts chewing on her nails like mad at the 2-1/2 week mark and seems to actually prefer her nails a little shorter. Jammu, on the other hand, remains a struggle.

Sasha's breeder used to trim the nails when he was a teeny weeny kitten. So it wasn't new for him, the initial few weeks we had the vet assistant do it and then we just followed it (after I prepared myself and worked up the courage). He's a sucker for praises - all I have to do is put him on the lap and keep kissing and praising him and tell him he's a good boy, ALL the time while I clip those nails!!!

I haven't even started thinking about the nail clipping thing with these two squirming bundles of energy, but I will. I did start to handle them more, look at their teeth, touch them all over for very short periods and a bit of brushing when they are ready for a nap. How many legs do cats actually have? Seems like 27 sometimes :)

Sadly my daughter was using snap chat to take the demonic video which caught the main event and her phone died before she could save it. Her girlfriend (who is my other daughter and lives with us) started filming towards the end but missed the wildest action. I put in music... so sorry Cary, no snorts, but I promise not to edit any more. There was a holy s**t from my darling daughter when her phone died that I didn't want published. I threatened to put her in time out but since she is 22 she just rolls her eyes at me.

I wound up abandoning the darling little brats around 12am last night since they would not give up on nipping me to try and get me up and in the action.

So she has stopped with the growling with toys things since he just ignored her, although I realized after a bit that she was just using it as part of her play. She regrets it now because she taught him a new trick and she doesn't quite know what to make of it.

They are cute little kids. Move quickly too. Too bad about the phone dying. But this was quite cute. ;)

They are adorable! Looks like the iPad itself was as much fun to them as the fishing game!
