Fiber could help, our boys chewed on anything plastic until I started growing wheat grass for them. Oat grass is a big hit, as well. The stuff you buy premixed at the store is terrible, though, the weird jelly grow medium made our cats vomit even after washing the grass - best to get seed and diy.

Has anyone used the cat litter made from grass seed? I want to switch them off of the Feline Pine and I don’t want to use clay litter.
