Is TF, tritrich? I looked it up quickly and it seemed very similar to our tritrich thread with treatment involving ronidazle.

Thanks for the info, fortunately Nailah seems very healthy and her stools aren't runny.

Yes, Rylie, that's it...glad to hear all is well!

I've heard this. I tried the raw diet for Kovu & he refused to touch it. :( The lady at a holistic pet store gave me enough samples for a week and he just would not even try it. I was so sad.

Ashley, what type of raw food did you give him? he may not have liked the specific brand...

I'm assuming he really disliked it cause he chose kibble (which isn't his favorite either) over it. :/ Your right tho, I may just have to try a different brand. He eats Blue Buffalo Wilderness right now & does well on it. But I'd still switch him to raw if he would go for it.

Tink also appeared healthy except for cow pie stools and an odor that would also drive you out of the room. The cow pie stools would come and go. She wasn't gaining any weight. TF is Tritrichomonus Foetus and yes there is the thread on that. I mentioned TF here because some one mentioned a really fowl odor and I thought that they might not know about TF. They were searching for a litter that would absorb odors. I did not know anything about TF until about a year ago when I came across it on a breeder's website and it sounded like what we were experiencing. It took a little over 3 mo to find a vet that was familiar with it, and for Tink to have a cow pie stool. I had her at that vet that afternoon and my hunch was confirmed, she had it. We treated TF & she is now fine. Sue

Thanks, I'll check it out. I also found a holistic pet food store called Next-To-Nature. Think I might swing by there today & see if they have any suggestions as well.

That's a good idea...usually though food like Feline's Pride is not found in those stores. See if they have Stella and Chewy's...
