We didn’t like the pine pellets here. My cats stopped using them. Also the dog food is most likely contributing to smelly poop as it’s really not good for them to eat.

We like the pellets and I’ve never noticed a strong odor - I think the pellets last longer and it’s a more economical choice. I really don’t think we will be toilet training. Lol

I agree, the dog food is probably not the best thing to let him snack on. Is there a way for you to keep the food out of his reach? As for the litter, it is not unusual for kittens to play in it (one reason I always advise against using clumping litter with kittens, in case the decide to ingest some) but he should hopefully grow out of it.
