They are completely adorable and I can totally understand why you had to keep them instead of finding them homes... I don't know that I could understand how anyone wouldn't want to keep them!

Cleo and Lucy are 10 weeks old now. Just yesterday Cleo started playing fetch. Ive seen videos of other savannahs playing fetch, but I didnt expect her to learn so quickly.

Ive created a monster. Once I start playing with her, she won't let me stop. If I try to ignore her, she jumps in my lap, drops her mouse, and meows until I throw it again.

LOVE the video!! Yup you got a "fetcher" there. My Kilifi does the same, except not in my lap...at my feet and instead of meowing, she places her foot, claws extended, on my foot. It gets the point across.

Yes, mine all learned from my own foolishness. They would bring toys to my bed when I was half-asleep and I would toss them off. Big mistake. They are very very persistent kitties and no they won't want you to stop!

Classical fetch play! Even the ritualistic return via the tunnel. Only thing missing is the proud prance. Give it a week.

Haha, it is so funny you say that about the prance. She started doing it last night. It was a prance that screamed, "I have returned from the hunt as the victor, bow down and worship me as I present my kill, minion"

I really thought I Was training her to fetch; it turns out she was training me to throw her toy at her beck and call. I'm really hoping the first time she presents me a real dead mouse, she doesn't expect me to throw it for her--but I have a feeling she will

If you never want to fear for the state of your house never let them see you operate the ice/water dispenser on the fridge (if you have such a contraption) or turn on faucets. It will be only a matter of time before you are mopping up the slop.:big grin:
