They probably did, but since the person or computer that sent it was using an older Microsoft Product the "WINMAIL.DAT" file was created, and the image was inside the WINMAIL.DAT file.

Yeah, it just seems strange to me...although I do not use Windows anymore and haven't for about 5 years...

I am computer illiterate (mostly) which is why I asked John Campbell. I have no idea still exactly what the winmail.dat is but JC told me where to go to open it. Thank you John!!!
