March Madness Yellow Up-Chuck

What is with the watery slightly yellow tinged vomit that my cats do only in March? Every cat I've ever had has done this and only for a week or two in March. Allergies? It's happened when I lived on the east coast too. Is it a secret feline solstice or equinox ritual? A response to the change in daylight? Any ideas?

Daylight Savings time has them physically upset...or maybe the groundhog scared them when he came out of his burrow and told them winter would not be over for a while?

It's bile coloring it, correct? I have one doing it too, but he's also shedding like crazy (he's an Oci) and licking himself. Can we blame it on the weather? It's almost 80 here in Michigan, in the middle of March, for pete's sake! I should be out shoveling snow or scraping ice, instead I have every window and door open and the ceiling fans on....the cats are laying around panting like it's July.....

The yellow stomach bile you refer to can be caused by the breeding season the cats are overtly stimulated causing them to be licking them selves more. Most are shedding for summer time at this time of year as well. Also can be gas so says my vet. ;) Imagine when you get a piece of hair in you mouth or throat and your gagging. I know it sounds like BS but if you go brush your breeding females this time of year compared to another you should have more hair now on the brush.
