I bought a Tasin around 7 years ago, and just replaced it with a Weston 12. The Weston is MUCH quieter and plenty powerful to grind up the chickens with bones. My Tasin was still working fine after 7 years, and I gave it to my friend who is using it to grind chickens for her dogs. The Weston is much heavier-duty than the Tasin and weighs a lot.
