Thank you for accepting us to this board!
I've always loved cats but my mom wouldn't let me get close to one as a child because of asthma. I grew out of the sickness and I had cats since then. My last cat was adopted from a shelter. We had great 12 years but it's been about 5 years since I first learned about Savannahs. My cat was very unique and some behaviors that reminded of this breed and I was set to have one. Violet passed last almost 2 years ago (God bless that grumpy wild kitty) and Isis came home the same week of her one year death date.
Isis was 4.5 months and It was love at first sight. She'll be a year old in May and I couldn't be happier. She's more that I could ever dream of.
Here's a few pictures of her image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

I forgot to add, she's a F4. She's silver but lately her fur started showing some brown at the ends. This is the second time her fur is changing since I got her.

Welcome! I loved your story and I was similar in that the big personality of cats I had had in the past was a reason for me wanting a Savannah and why I love them so much. I'm quite convinced that my mel boy Baz actually has the spirit of my very first cat (a black cat)... as they have such similarities.

your girl Isis is lovely, and as Patti says the browning you are seeing is called tarnishing and happens with silver...especially as they mature :)

Thank you all for the warm welcome!
Interesting about the tarnishing, I learn something new everyday.
It's amazing how her fur was short and close to the body now it's thick and soft.
She has some health issues but I'll make another post on the cat advice section.

Welcome! Your story sounds similar to how I got Zeddie, except it was my rabbit that passed and only 4 months between my rabbit's passing and Zeddie coming home. She is a beautiful girl!
