Nikki, has she hopped into the tub with you yet?

She has. She has given herself two baths to date, both times falling into the big jacuzzi tub in our master bath. She is NOT HAPPY when that happens.

She doesn't mind getting wet, but she doesn't seem like like being "in" the tub.

It is kind of funny :)

Gosh, looks like she has really grown since your last pics! What a cutie!!

I have not had a chance to weigh her, but she seems to me to have doubled in size, at least, since she came home.

She is eating us out of house and home- she doesn't like dry, so she is going through several cans of wet food, plus meat, per day :)

She is a good girl though, she doesn't get up until we do.

SO bathing her will be ok for your allergies. Good :)

The first night together in AZ was a bit of a test run. I let her do whatever she wanted, didn't take my Claritin, and intentionally didn't wash my hands before touching my face, which I have to do when staying at friends homes who have cats that bother my allergies. I figured that when I didn't dissolve into a sneezing, coughing, red eyed monster, that she and my allergies would play nice :)
Given that she sleeps about 4" from my face, licks my nose, and tries to eat my hair, I was very lucky to be right about that so far :)

How often do you need to bathe her to keep from having an allergic reaction?

No idea, Ellin. She just came home in November :)
Diablo, I need to bathe every 2d to 3d week. Mickey, every other week. Three weeks between baths is too long. Jarvis, I bathe a couple times a year. Time will tell with Baby Rey.

Maybe you have found a kitty who will not cause you ANY reaction at all. I sure hope so. Such a great cat mom should be able to love her babies. :)
