You mean not the only Savannah that is named "Savannah"? Very true, we get told about them all the time in Rescue, it can be hard to keep the "Savannahs" straight, LOL! Probably like Abyssinians named Abby...I think some breed names lend themselves to staying as the name :)

Perhaps, when you have other cats, and you add a Savannah, it is easy to call the savannah, "Savannah".
My next two had more unique names! (Blame my wife. She named her.)

Nothing has been easy and I take raising her pretty serious. Believe it or not it was not easy to name her. I don't really care if anyone doesn't care for it or thinks I took a easy way out.

No offense was meant. I was addressing how natural it was to use the name. And I feel my wife was on the same path you took. I really like the name.:)

OMG. Just checked out your website and you have the most amazing Savannahs evvver!!! The serval is crazy awesome. Wow when I get more time I'm going to check out more. Amazing. Thanks for the comment on Savannah. Her stitches came out today from spayed. All good and she is all set. She is so rad. I love her! Happy New Year!!

She is beautiful. Echo, my F2 boy, has a best friend in Dolos, a F2 Bengal. Dolos rules the roost around here even though she is only 8.5 lbs at 11 months and he's pushing 27 lbs. :) They adore each other.
