Meet Sylar and his humans

Karakash, huh? I couldn't find a working website for them. Do they have a current website? There are a couple of cats at Drinkwater that look incredibly similar to Sylar, so I'm leaning that way, but I could change my mind if I see some Karakash cats. Maybe I'll contact both and see if either has record of a cat that matches Sy's description. Thanks again for all of the advice, compliments, and welcomes.

Thanks, Brigitte. Great info and very interesting picture. It's too bad the cattery is defunct, but I really think that is my Sy. I guess he is closer to 7 than 5.

Well...I do still happen to have two pics of one of Sue and Karl Karakash's F1 girls, and one of their serval. I visited them before I got my first Savannah, so these pics are from about 4-5 years ago....

That first one looks just like Sylar, excepting the color of course. Perhaps she was his mother?

Could be, Tristin...I think I remember both of their F1 girls as being silver. I wish I still had the pic of the other girl. Let me look through some other old files and see if I can find it. They both looked very similar. Very beautiful girls, too!

Ok...no go. I think they may have been saved on my crashed laptop :(
No problem, Pam. Thanks for checking. I'll try to get in touch with Sue or Karl and see if they have any more information for me.

Tristan, whatever Sylar's pedigree, he is a beautiful boy and you are very fortunate to adopt an older cat who has adjusted so quickly to a new home. Welcome to the community of savannah-owned humans.
Thank you, Deborah. You are right, his pedigree really doesn't matter. We are just so obsessed with our new boy that we want to know everything about him that we can. We would especially love to get some kitten pictures. Either way, though, we are thrilled to have him in our lives. He is a treasure.
