Meet Sylar and his humans

Well, I very much hope you find out who bred him and that you get some baby pictures. Buuuut, if you don't, you'll just have to get that SV kitten you were originally searching for -- ya know, to keep Sylar company and ya know, so you have at least some kitten pictures, and well, because that obsession you spoke of will only get worse now that you have a SV. They are so damn addictive.

You aren't kidding! We really do want an SV kitten, but we're waiting for the right moment. Sylar came along under such serendipitous circumstances, it will likely be something similar that brings number two into our lives.

Thank you, Deborah. You are right, his pedigree really doesn't matter. We are just so obsessed with our new boy that we want to know everything about him that we can. We would especially love to get some kitten pictures. Either way, though, we are thrilled to have him in our lives. He is a treasure.
I think it would be great if Sue or Karl could help uncover more of his past for you. I think it natural to want to know if it is possible. He's a great cat no matter what and no question he is a Savannah in any case :)

If you know the name of the original owner you should be able to write to Sue and/or Doreen and see if they have records of a sale to this person.

Brief update: I got in touch with Karl via his YouTube channel and we were able to figure out who Sylar's parents are. Unfortunately, the original owners falsified their application info to circumvent state laws at the time, so that is all we have so far. Karl said he will try to salvage the files from his broken laptop and send any kitten pictures he finds of Sylar. The father was King Sultan and the mother was Zig.

Yay! So glad you were able to get in touch with Karl and learn more about his parents!

Yeah.... uh huh. Tell ALL of us about that! Probably about 95% to 98% of us on the board know this.... now!
For you folks lurking the boards to learn about these SV's, take note. You were warned!:big grin:

Huh...what would it mean if Zig was a Serengeti? Karl did confirm that Sylar was likely an F1, as he has an F1 that looks nearly identical to him.
