I don't think I can express enough just how awesome this cat is. I got what I thought was a cat toy yesterday...turns out it doubles as a baby toy :).

Tis obvious that Tamu is just training the next human generation for Servant Services. Been thinking about getting one of those ball thingies in a track, but keep furgetting. :roflmao:

Sugar glider watching...
At least they're watching from the floor and not the top of the cage! Though I believe it is time for a cage not made out of pvc and plastic mesh

Awww, really? You have sugar gliders? i really miss my sugar gliders but I felt it was too risky to have them in this hotbed of felines and their instinctual behaviors.

Have to laugh, the twins just met me bonded sister pair of chinchilla's. Tink just sits and stares, Rufio is trying to break through the steel habitat. Yeah, steel habitat with savannah proof latches.

It feels like the Twins are trying to decide if they are prey, friends or just furry toys. I thinks out of the 5 cats, Tink could catch one, The others can barely land a paw. :roflmao:

Yes, we have one sugar glider (he's old enough now that it would be a pain to introduce another *sigh*) named Kujo. Zubi can't see him unless he moves...I guess because they don't smell like 'prey' but Tamu knows he's there always! He's better now, but he has climbed the cage several times! The cats won't be allowed free rein of the house unsupervised until we have a more secure cage. I'm thinking of relocating Kujo to the guest room as well...except it's not continuously climate controlled.

Anyway, Dice, hope your kids figure out they are friends and not lunch!

I used to have what was termed my 'Endangered Species Room' where all the prey-type animals (birds, sugar gliders, reptiles, etc.) were kept safe from the carnivores/predators. That room has long since been turned into a kitten room. I miss all the other species I used to have, but just can't have them anymore with all the cats...

Mutual grooming :)
This is the first time I've seen Zubi groom Tamu. He tolerates him pretty well, but hasn't really shown any overtures that he actually accepts Tamu. Makes me happy!

Of course, as I'm typing this, their grooming session has turned into a wrestling match :/
Haha!
