Savannah Super Cat
Welcome WiskeyVenus! You are adorable!
Cary, it's North American Spotted Moose (NASM, Is this the TICA code?)! You know better!
TD, OMG!, you have no idea what you did to the belly spot fetish freaks on the boards! They have been slobbering all over their monitors with that picture!
And about these veterinarians.......
First, these are domestic cats by definition. They are exotic looking, they have some variation with sedatives, vaccinations, and smaller livers, but they have four paws, purr, and more energy than the energizer bunny.
I, too, have run across the prejudice against savannahs at vet offices. My three have changed the attitudes of many vets, all of whom have had the pleasure to meet them and now know how amazing they are. One office actually asked Mayhem to participate in the open office for the community children, as an ambassador of the spotted breed. He was a big hit!
I am of the opinion, that savannahs are less likely to be a challenge than your average cat at the vet office, as they are well socialized before they leave the breeders.
