She goes back on the 6th to have the sutures removed, so until then.
I tried taking it off and watching her, cause the tech said he did it a couple times and she didn't mess with her incision, but I didn't get that lucky. Under 5 minutes and she was trying to get at them so back on it went.

Awww, poor baby - it's going to be a long two weeks until you return to the vet, but I'm sure she'll do fine...

Yes it is. Came home yesterday after visiting the in-laws for Easter to find Venus sitting next to the front door, e-collar next to her, and her intently licking her wound. I think she is a stitch short now. The incision looks good and not irritated so she should be fine. Going to have to keep an eye on it and constantly check the e-collar! Mischievous little turd!

Mila did the same thing, when we came home she allready missed a few stitches. We put on a sweater for a week and a half, she didn't like it at first, but after an hour or so she was used to it. I think it's maybe a bit less stressfull as a collar.
Maybe this works also better for you is she keeps pulling off her collar

Yes, for a male the hole was to small, but for her it was no problem. I watched it a day or two.. And if it didn't work I would make the hole bigger. But that wasn't nessecery.

Okey, hope you find something that works for you. When you try it.. Mila rolled around the first hour or so and walked backwards and if she was drunk.. But after that hour evertyhing was normal..
