I just put a deposit down with Paul today for my kitten, and spoke to him on the phone. He does get confused very easily and attributes it to dyslexia. He seems to be able to laugh it off, which is good, because it's easier than becoming angry when it's beyond your own control. At first I was afraid because of the confusion; it made him appear flighty...when I googled his name that's how I found this forum. I was glad to find all the information provided here...especially on making sure I spelled his email right when sending the paypal payment. I must say, thank you very much, to everyone who had commented on here. I appreciate it.

I do have questions for those who purchased from him before, about the friendliness of the kitten when it arrived... Any info you can share would be appreciated.

i recently received a Bengal Kitten from Paul- Now he was a little bit different from other breeders that i was in talkes with while on my search. Feel free to ask anything while your waiting to recieve your kitten. I did not expect my boy to be as perfect, most beautiful cat ive seen. His markings are of that of a show cat. His temper is non existent, he purs all the time and meows as loud as a dog bark, which is very funny. He plays fetch with a rubber soccer ball!!, the size of a golf ball and brings it back to me - this goes on for hours if i allow it.
When the kitten arrived he was in a crate at the desk of the Delta Cargo area of my local airport. He was meowing and very small like a baby leopard- the lady asked "what is that some kind of zoo animal?" haha. did not pee or poo in the crate at all- but needed to asap. bring water to the airport!!! He arrived at 11weeks on the dot.
I asked for pictures and Paull took a few and sent them to my email while i was waiting. I didnt talk to Paul on the phone during the waiting period but he always emailed me back eventually- very on his own time- he is not running a business. I liked that! hOPE THAT HELPS- This is my first Bengal Cat and so far a great experience - i know that helps to hear because i was a bit nervous it being a big responsibility and all ... & IT IS!

Thanks Justin_Rex :) I appreciate you taking the time to reply here. I purchased a Savannah kitten as opposed to Bengal. Paul raises both. Does anyone know if the two have similar traits? I know Paul spends a lot of time with the kittens and I'm hoping that will make the transition easier for the kitten. My kitten will only have a couple hour flight to me so that's good but I'll keep in mind to bring water :) Thanks again!

Both Bengals and Savannahs are high energy and interactive pets, so yes can be similar. In terms of looks, their breed standards are different but there are a couple catteries that have used significant Bengal in their programs hence it is harder to see the difference between the breeds in that case, it kinda blurs the lines!

Hello everyone! I've been checking out this forum the past two days, when I came across this post. I am considering purchasing a kitten from aaasavannahs/ Paul Beeson. I'm not sure if I am worried now or relieved. It seems those that got their kittens are very happy with them.

Would love to see any recent photos from this cattery, if any of you would like to share that would be awesome!

Photos of grown savannahs from this aaasavannahs breeder. Maybe Rissa and a couple others who bought from him might be able to help me out? :big grin: Just trying to get a feel how his kittens turned out.

Ah, ok...not sure she is around...have you looked at all the available kittens and breeders and done your research? Sounds like you are a bit unsure...I honestly don't know anyone who has a cat from Paul.

Oh ok. I saw her post pictures last year August of her kitten she had good things to say. I was hoping she was around to post new pics.

I have been doing my research, and I think I'm hooked on one kitten in particular I don't want anyone to snatch it away though! lol I'm in talks with the breeder now.
