This is a touching video, Saving the life of a little kitten.

On a cold Thanksgiving morning, Branden Bingham and his family stumbled upon a seemingly frozen kitten buried in the snow. In an attempt to save his life, they rushed inside and began performing CPR on the lifeless cat.

It's amazing what a cat/kitten can survive...

Regie's sister Barafu Tufani (which means ice storm) is nick named both Tuff Girl and my Frozen Popsicle Stick because when she was a kitten she crawled into the freezer by going under the drawer when it was pulled out (yes she was that small) and I didn't discover her for an hour. I was sure she was a goner, but I took her outside (it was July in Phoenix so toasty) and performed CPR on her. I was amazed that she not only survived but had no physical or neurological deficits.

And believe me, now I get on my hands and knees every single time I open that darned freezer to look behind the drawer and make sure no one has climbed in there!

I know the feeling.. Maybe I am over protective, but if I had a door open, and Elsa is not in sight, I go looking for her... I do not know what I would do without her...

I did not know that Patti. Actually I was not aware Regie had a sister. I am so out of it. But I am so glad Tuff Girl survived unscathed.

This is the first time I've ever told anyone this story - it was so traumatic I couldn't share it.

She is actually pretty benign, at least compared to some of my other mischief makers! She was very bossy and brazen as a kitten (even after she almost froze) but has really mellowed out in her 'old' age.
