My little Loki has cancer, prepping house for his return. Advice?

It's been a while since I've posted. As some of you may recall, I had a devastating diagnosis of lymphoma with my cat Mayhem. He was given a 3 to 6 months prognosis. Mayhem lived another 42 months with a high quality of life. Another cat of mine, my original F5 named Savannah, was given 6 months with her diagnosis of lymphoma, and lived for another 3 years. She made 16 years with a high quality of life, and I like to think old age was really this issue when she passed. Lymphoma can be treated and you can get a high quality of life for the cats. My advice is to enjoy every day you have with your cats. Lymphoma is very common in cats but can be treated and well tolerated by the cats. (I'll try to post on another forum in a few days as I have been working with a rescue savannah cat whom I am adopting.)

It sounds like you've had your run of bad luck with lymphoma in cats, but encouraged to hear how long your cats were able to survive it. I can't wait to hear about the new Savannah you are adopting!

This is very encouraging news for those dealing with lymphoma in their cats, and great to hear the longevity of the quality of life your dear cats had. Looking forward to hear news of your new Savannah kitty. Keep us posted.
