Tupac? How about Dolemite, Blacula, Shaft or Superfly? I jest of course, but a name that someone might take offense to probably isn't the right one.

John, I thought about that, but Deborah suggested it ;) I personally like Ajax and Shepherd...and Zuberi ;)

I picked Kael. And I'm thinking if that one doesn't get picked I might just have to use it if we get another kitten. ;)

OK, that makes sense. The person poking a stick in my ribs over the name Nifty (which isn't going to happen if the minx gets her way).

BTW, I can't even share what some of the names my friends came up with for our mel boy, certainly in jest, but wholly inappropriate.

Tupac is a noble African name meaning "warrior/messenger." Don't know why it would be offensive to anyone. The rapper is long dead. How about Barack instead?

Yes and that is why I decided to go with it Deborah - I saw that was the meaning behind the name...as for Barack, well, I will keep my mouth shut on that one...
