What was the "liquid antibiotics" given for the Coccidia? If it was Albon (sulfadimethoxine) then it may not have been effective. It's an older medication still commonly in use but is only bacteriostatic rather than actually killing the coccidia...the idea is that it halts the growth of coccidia so that the animal's immune system can deal with it. There is a newer medication, Ponazuril, you need to have from a compounding pharmacy usually, but it is way more effective. http://www.wedgewoodpetrx.com/learn...horse-owners/ponazuril-for-dogs-and-cats.html
Without knowing if the coccidia has been treated effectively, you can't rule that out and move on to investigating IBS.
My suggestion is to ask for the ponazuril to treat the coccidia, and if that is not effective either, to do a fecal PCR test to look for other infectious causes.
