I'm glad you are finding help and support here, that is one of the reasons why this forum exists! You are right though, four days is not long enough to decide anything. Hopefully each day will get a little better. Deborah gave you some great advise about wearing her out before bedtime, hopefully this will help to get her to sleep during the night. Right now getting her spayed should be your first priority, hopefully you will be able to manage it in the near future.

Good morning everyone!! And what a good morning it is..........got a full night sleep and things are much better here in Kimberland! Yesterday I got a scatmat, aka miracle worker ;) What a great thing...wow!..each cat is staying away from the door, on both sides. A GREAT improvement! (and when I got to the register at the store it was $25 off!!) I did play with her before bedtime and she had her snack. Then I woke up this morning! Kimber is getting a bit more familiar with me everyday; less skittish and out of her hiding place much more, instead of running when I enter the room she comes out when I enter the room. Still keeping her distance but I am able to sneak in some quick petting when we play. And NO biting! Yay!

Today I will continue working on the spay situation, yes that is my priority now! Thank you all for all the great suggestions and support! Leslie and Kimber
