You might try reassuring Kebi that Akila isn't there to replace him. It may sound strange, but cats understand quite a bit. Give Kebi a bit of extra attention, maybe there is a treat or a toy he likes that will make him feel special?

The t-shirts are a great idea! I have had cats all my life, usually 2 or 3 at a time, and I have never had this much trouble getting them to get along. Akila wants to be friends, but Kebi just want to keep being mean to her.
It’s been over 4 months.I have been told it could take 7 to 8 months. I hope it’s sooner then that!!!
It’s worth a try. Hang in there!

Thank You Ninja and MM3..... I have tried everything with Kebi, but she is just not accepting of Akila. It is very frustrating. Akila has had some health issues which require me to give her more of my attention. I still make Kebi feel special and take the time to cuddle, play, and praise her everyday.

It has been a challenge for all of us, but it in the end it will all work out!!!!
