I'm not sure what kind of toy you're talking about but one of my cats ate a mylar 'crinkle' ball and was throwing up for three days. I was fortunate, but if you're leaving town tomorrow you might want to call your vet and see what advice he has for you.

No, not the mylar crinkle balls. These are soft and squishy. I'll see if I can find a pic of one. He has NEVER eaten a toy before! I had no idea he would eat this one. By the time I saw it in his mouth it was too late.

I don't know what to do. Should I stay home and not go to the show? I have my son and his family staying at my house to take care of the pets.

Hopefully he'll cough it up. I wonder if theres someway to encourage that? How long has it been since he ate it?

Tojo has eaten some crazy things and has always pooped them thru (whole even ) but I think he has been VERY lucky.

Did you call your vet to see what he recommended? There are some meds that can encourage vomiting but you would need to ask a vet if you should try to get him to vomit it up or see if he will pass it. I can't tell by the pic how big this toy is, but I'm guessing it's too big to pass out of the stomach, if it is still in one piece.
