OMG I am totally freaked!

Did you call your vet to see what he recommended? There are some meds that can encourage vomiting but you would need to ask a vet if you should try to get him to vomit it up or see if he will pass it. I can't tell by the pic how big this toy is, but I'm guessing it's too big to pass out of the stomach, if it is still in one piece.

They are pretty small and squish up pretty teeny. I've always been a bit leery of this toy, but no one has ate one here.

I would be freaked out, too! It doesn't look like something that would pass easily in either direction. Did you talk to your vet or have him seen yet?

I did talk to the emergency vet. They said to try to induce vomiting, but it wasn't easy in cats, and to keep an eye on him and bring him in if he starts looking ill, or vomiting after a day or 2. The thing is, he is eating normally, and playing normally. Nothing seems to be amiss at all.

I'm glad you talked to your vet, Jacq. Do you trust whoever is watching him this weekend to notice if something is amiss with Nimbus, no matter how slight? How far away is the show you are attending? Can you go for one day only? If it were me, I'd skip it.....chances are the toy will pass without incidence, but I would not risk it, but that is just me....

Are you sure he ate it? or hasn't vomited it up already? 'cause that is not something that will pass through unless you are very lucky. On the other hand, if he poops and eats the next few days, you should be all right. But a bariumsulphate contrat x-ray would be high on my list of things that may be necessary. In a couple of days...

I bet that would pass pretty easily. Can you have someone check up on him? I would have someone stop in and note any vomiting. I had a cat that ate a whole pack of those gummy rubber frogs my kids had. He vomitted all up in one retch. I didn't even know he was eating them!

My son is staying at my house while I am gone, and he is on alert for any off behavior. So far, eating fine, behaving normally. If it isn't out by the time I get home, he's going to the vet.

If he was blocked, Jacqui, he wouldn't be eating and wouldn't act normal- period. If he was really blocked, he wouldn't even be able to drink water. So sounds like it probably is either working its way out or already a cat poop in the big litter box in the sky!

Yeah after whip ate his toy he couldn't walk without throwing up anything in his system and wouldn't eat or drink because of it. It sounds good so far for your boy though.
