Always amazing how the family can blend together more as time goes on. Have noticed similar evolving in my gang. Think after of 5 years of putting up with his Savannahness, Isis has gotten a crush on Sampson, who will be 5 in just a few weeks.

Isis is my 9 year old domestic female, back short hair, who is Alpha Beech of the Neighborhood and family also, well mostly . Noticed the two started wanting out of the main Savannah Cave, my bedroom, in conspicuous moments apart. Sam will want up stairs, so he can gallivant around, run, chase whatever, lmao, then once you hear him tromping around, the Ice Queen will want up too. 30 seconds later, things get quiet.

When Ice wants upstairs first, Sampson is immediately behind her, no waiting, then last night, caught them cuddling on top of the chinn. habitat. Tried to take a picture, but one Isis saw what I was doing, she lept down to the bed. Guess Ice isn't ready for photo evidence yet.

Also, my boy Sampson, who had some personality issues, has gotten super loving lately, well for him. has taken time, patience and recognizing his body tells, and such, but he now wants to know what all this cuddle stuff is about, and will lay on my lap, least when Spot or Ice aren't in it first, and come up and prick me in the shoulder, wanting love and attention accompanied by his begging mew..

Great update Chris. Looks like Oni has accepted the interloper and decided he isn't so bad after all. I love to watch these evolving relationships, especially when the outcome is so positive. Good girl Oni! And good boy Ziggy for not mucking up the moment as boys sometimes do.

A breakthrough in cat relations! Ziggy is curled up on the couch between us. Oni jumped down with Ziggy and, instead of growling or running away, she started cleaning him. Now, she's given Ziggy and Jax licks before, but it's always been a couple at most, followed usually by noise and fury (well a bat or two) from Oni. This lasted minutes, and she's curled up between us now as well, and I have photo evidence:
Notice Ziggy's ruffled neck fur in the foreground.

It's been a long road, and it's so great to see them doing so well!

Just wonderful to see! I definitely see this as a huge step...what a great job you've done with them all :)

Oni and Ziggy really enjoyed the great weather yesterday. Ziggy continued his gentleman ways and Oni put up with him quite well.

I'm presently being walked by both Oni and Ziggy and got a picture of Oni:

She just sniffed the holes in the manhole cover and smelled something.

They both decided to go different directions, leaving me in the middle of the street. Good thing I'm on a dead end...

Yeah, it can be interesting walking two at once if they individually spy something of interest in opposite directions! LOL!
