When one of my kitten buyers was flying to the Netherlands with one of my kittens, they had all the items Kim mentioned, but I had given them litter and a small litterbox as well, just in case...they were at JFK for seven hours and then had a seven hour flight.

You can use litter at the airport and that may be best, since the kitten is used to litter. Ask Arden what type of litter she uses and then have hubby buy some or get some from Arden before the flight.

Hello, I wanted to ask about flying overseas - finally I found you mentioning it..They probably couldn't use soft carrier for this flight, could they? I only found the information saying you have to have hard/sturdy carrier for flying overseas..Thank you for your ideas..

You need to ask the airline their requirements...I will tell you that if you are looking for an F1, most US breeders will not ship to Europe...

Where do you live? I know the UK for sure, but possibly other countries will not allow you to bring animals in as carry-on, but must be shipped in cargo. Definitely check with the airlines you are thinking of flying on so that you know exactly what you must do.

I live in Prague, Czech republic, and I will definitely find an airline that allows me to bring the kitten as carry-on. Have friends who did bring their puppies from U.S.A. in carry-ons :) I have a long time to get perfectly ready for this :) Thank you for your concern and information. :)
