Oh Frances, I am so sorry that you lost Birba - I know your heart is breaking, but at least she is no longer suffering. I agree with the others, there is something very wrong with what is going on with this breeder's program if she has produced several sick kittens, and her nonchalance toward the situation is abhorent

Yeah she doesn't care :( she knew she was sick all along I can tell by how defensive she is.
Are you ok? I have been down this road before with a loss, and it can be so sad and painful. Are you planning on taking any action since she knew the kitten was sick. Ive never heard of a breeder or anyone saying you need to sit with them and make sure they eat because its usually the opposite, that they eat too much and we need to watch how much they eat. Its a horrible thing. Tragic for your baby and for you.

Sorry for your loss! RIP Birba xo

I was at a car show yesterday. Was talking with another lady, who had a similar experience. Her baby made it to two years old. Had a heart defect from birth. Same thing, the breeder would not replace the cat or return the money.

Find it hard to hear about breeders who won't back their cats/kittens health. The emotional stress these buyers go through and the loss. To add no compensation or compassion to it all, is horrible.

My heart goes out to you!

Frances, please let us know if you need help with this breeder... One thing she detests is negative reviews on her Facebook page, so maybe time for some people to visit and post...

Thank you so much :(
I'm actually ok now because I've realized that 100% she's been suffering since I got her so in a way I feel better she's not here in pain :(

I was thinking of pursuing something but I don't think its worth pursuing because she's going to cost me time and money and nothing will change Birba being dead. ...I am going to post on Facebook thiugh...even though she has like 5 stars so I'm sure she's deleting bad reviews somehow

You should do that because someone else can be spared the pain and suffering both you and Birba have endured. She is resting in peace now.
