Post-BM turbo charge???

Hi- I'm not sure if such a topic has been covered before because I'm not sure what its called. We've noticed something in our F1 and F2 that we've not seen in our other cats (though perhaps we never noticed?). After they have a BM, they Go into what we can only describe as a hyperactive mode. Running around like the daylights, jumping about, spinning around like a devil, really nonstop. This lasts about 5ish minutes, sometimes a bit longer. Anyone else notice this? Is it a savannah thing or have people noticed it in other cats as well?

Curious,
Rob

I can tell Loki pooped because he comes screaming out of the laundry room and across the house. I half think its to get away from his own smell. But its typically only once across the house.

He also runs into the laundry room to use the litter box. Or whenever it cycles......because he HAS to watch his poop disappear.

Not sure if its SV specific, but this is the first cat I've seen do it.

A couple of my Savannahs do this. I've also had a DSH that did it too, only she did it even more intense than my SV's do. And she never really played or ran around any other time.

Haha, sometimes cat behavior is a complete mystery to us, but fascinating none the less!!
