Zuko seems to be more laid back and a thinker, whereas his sister is a fireball. He loves catnip though, and runs around with toys that are wayy too big for him. :p

I have heartbreaking news. I am very sad to say that Zuko is not a boy, and although it is conflicting I decided to ask for my money back. I did have my heart set on my first male cat and it just does not feel right no matter how beautiful she is (and how much I have come to love her).

When my breeder messaged me to tell me to sit down, I thought she was sick, but am happy that the little kitten is healthy and that she will find the right home for her. I did shed a few tears, but I am not mad.

The wait continues, but I will find my Zuko, and will be patient as I want to fall in love with him like I did with this precious kitten.

Emily. I had the same thing happen to me. Before I got Regie, I had my heart set on Chipukizi, whom we all thought was male. BUT, He turned out to be a she. And is now Patti's latest breeder kitty. Search thru the threads and you will find the story.
Sorry hon. But you will find your Zuko. HUGS!

It felt bad asking for my money back, but I know I made the right decision. It is weirdly enough nice to hear that I am not the only one. Thank you!

Yeah. I was in a better position, in that my breeder was local and I had met "Kizi" but had not yet put money down on him (her). And I was fortunate enough that Patti had another F2 male that she offered. Regulus and I hit it off, so it worked out. And I am also happy that "Kizi" stayed with Patti and is growing into a beautiful girl and will hopefully privide the world with some lovely kittens.
I am also glad that my story makes it a bit easier for you. And BTW, I still love little Kizi and keep up with her life, so it is not unusual to love the one "that got away". :)

That was how I got my first boy cat. I fell in love with a kitten in my Himy's first litter thinking that it was a girl. Even the vet was fooled when I brought the kittens in for their first shot. Then a week or so later, I saw a little pink thing where no girl should have a little pink thing. Took the kitten back to the vet who confirmed that she was a he. I was too deeply in love with him so I kept him and found out how loving neutered boy kitties are. The irony was that a year before I had dreamt that I had a male cat that I had named Royal Sage of Kashmir that had to go by "Kashmir" instead of "Sage" because as loveable as he was, he was a doofus. I dismissed the dream at the time but it came rushing back to me when I found out that he was a he. What is meant to be is meant to be.

I believe I will always love her. I admit I have been torturing myself quite a bit today.. Revisiting kitten's albums and videos. And then after commenting about her beauty on Donna's new post, Donna said that she loved me and I was back in tears. I think I found your thread, but am still catching up with Azidi's introduction (and Kilifi ears!! <3 Is it Patti that finds these amazing exotic names?!). I am hooked. I hope Azidi settles in well (NO SPOILERS PLEASE)

You are too funny!! I am glad you could find out how loving neutered boy kitties are.. I love it when life links, and pieces fit. That dream was fate, and that name is perfection. I think Kashmir sounds snuggly. :3 But LOL. Doofus?? I must find your thread.. I sense more funny stories!

If I brought missy home, I would not have been able to turn her away. Animals have a way of burrowing into our hearts. I almost decided several times today to cave and get a girl, but I truly believe my true prince will find me.

The names (except Regulus) are all Patti's. I named Regie after the brightest star in the constellation Leo.
I love that you love the babies so strongly. You are a good person, and will be a great Savannah mom. :)

BTW the latest thread of mine is " Azidi, Kilifi, Regulus and Cary."

:O I love the origin of that name! Regulus is so regal too. :3

Thank you! I cannot wait to join the Savannah owner's club!! For now I have lots of reading to catch up with! ALL THE THREADS.
