More updates and breakthroughs:

Tisa is now seeking out and allowing pets from head to tail from my mother and stepdad.
She is taking treats from their hands.
She hisses in greeting when her food comes in but is completely comfortable eating in the open with my mom in the room.
She has a new cat tree/house--you can see her in the house part in the avatar. She loves it.
My mom said in general, she is very relaxed and happy (well, as relaxed as a Savannah gets... she's always moving, lol).

I just want to thank you all for the help so far. She is doing really well, and I will finally get to see her in a couple of weeks. :D

If she falls in love with your mom, I hope she can stay with HER! IF it's working and it ain't broken, don't try to fix it!! Just be happy for both of them! Tisa's welfare is paramount!!! ;)

Another lap day today, as soon as mom got in the room. No purring, but apparently Tisa talks to her the whole time with a soft, "meh, meh, meh". LOL. I feel like I know her so well from my mom giving me the details. I get to finally see her in person in 2 weeks. :in love:

I know I keep rambling on about her, but I am so excited about how well she's adapting and I want to share that with you all. Thanks for listening to a proud absentee momma.
