I didnt let him out, he escaped lol. But we got him back in there and now hes playing with hubby, I played with him a little while ago too.

Kittens can move fast, and he's motivated to dash past your legs. When we are raising kittens we put a baby gate in the doorway of their room...it doesn't keep them in, but slows them down when we open the door so we can push them back while stepping over it into the room... might be worth considering something of the sort?

My daughter might still have one. good idea! Hes super fast and agile
