Im wondering everyones experience on this particular subject. Do you find that your kittens have days where they are bursting with energy and going non stop and days where they are quite lazy and just have the occasional burst. Is it all normal or do you find your savannahs always running like the energizer bunnies.

Perfectly normal. Mine did it when they were kittens and now that they are grown. When they were kittens, I always imagined the quiet days were devoted to putting all their energy into growing.

My F2 girl, 17 weeks, is the energizer bunny and never has down time unless I close them in a room. My F3 boy, 15 weeks, sometimes has quiet days but usually the day after I don't run them like maniacs for most of the day. I think he then stays up all night and gets on a backwards schedule.

Normal behavior, IMO. Some days my Savannahs seem quieter than other days...no rhyme or reason but I believe the weather and sunlight has a factor in that at times.

Agreed, a grey rainy day and mine seem to like to snuggle although often after a good run around out in the "big shower" in the enclosure ;-)
The few hot days we get here (I live in chilly San Francisco) they acted like they were melted into beds and shelves! LOL!
I find mine very on and off. Full speed ahead or its snuggle time...

Yes, on and off days here. In NC we're having summery days with high heat and humidity. Even with the AC on the cats enjoy simply alternating from sun to shade, like lizards. Evenings, if we open up the house and it's cooled off, and mornings are for running. Grey or rainy days, as long as it's cool, they alternate between a good tussle and sleeping bundled up or snuggling. Thunderstorms bring out the wild side. None of the cats seem to mind the thunder--they seem energized and ready to explore (inside...).
